  • We have been in negotiations with senior management.
  • Hung banners in public spaces across the university.
  • Vice Chancellor replied to our demands via his personal blog, stating his personal views about the possible rise of tuition fees and cuts to education, which was one of the occupation’s objectives. http://blogs.brad.ac.uk/from-the-vc/
  • Petitions signed by students and staff around and on university campus. We received around a thousand signatures.
  • In less than an hour over 400 postcards were signed by local school children within the Bradford East Constituency from just two colleges alone with representatives of the occupation.
  • A bus load of students from the occupation went to David Ward’s (Liberal Democrat MP for Bradford East) constituency office to support other student activists handing in the post cards. As part of this action a meeting with David Ward has been scheduled for Thursday in London.
  • Marsha Singh (Labour MP for Bradford West) gave his full support to our occupation, he has also promised to vote against the raise in tuition fees on Thursday.
  • The occupation continues…
